These clothes are usually worn by Balinese people during religious ceremonies or other special events. We will dress you carefully so that you will look awake and charming like a Balinese king or princess.

Balinese clothing contains elements of shade, peace, and joy. Men’s and women’s clothing has its own special philosophy.

The main concept of Balinese traditional clothing is tapak dara, which means a religious symbol in the form of a cross, similar to the “+” sign, that’s mean Harmony to God, Harmony to human, Harmony to nature.

This ritual, known among the locals as “Melukat”, is intended to purify the mind and spirit and It provides spiritual support, awakening, and empowerment. This ritual can be performed anywhere that the Balinese recognize as sacred Holly spring, but Sebatu is considered the most sacred place for this rite.

an ancient ritual in which Buddhists free captive animals to generate positive karma through an act of kindness. is the religious practice of saving and releasing animals that were destined to be slaughtered. Buddhist recommend the ritual as a way of “paying back debt,” “erasing bad luck… healing illness” and “extending one’s life among other benefits.

TERM & CONDITIONS

Prohibition of entering temples or doing this activities for women who are on their periods or menstruating.

The main reason, menstrual blood is considered ‘dirty’, so that it can make the temple become impure. Not only women during menstruation that are prohibited from entering the temple. Men or women who are in “Cuntaka”, or recently having a deceased family member, also may not enter the temple. They were only allowed to enter the temple again 12 days after the Ngaben ceremony. Also, couples who have babies under the age of 6 months, are also not allowed to enter the temple.

According to the story from generation to generation, there are negative effects if you are determined to enter the temple during menstruation or during Cuntaka. Many women experience pain and faint while in the temple. Reportedly, there are also mystical events that can befall menstruating women in temples, such as possession.
